The Bartram Group

The Bartram Group of the South Carolina Sierra Club Chapter is located in the upstate of South Carolina and has over 1000 members serving the counties of Greenville, Spartanburg, Laurens and Union. 

The Bartram Group attempts to meet virtually on Google Meet platform once every month (except for July) except when the meeting is a tour or visit to a site. Members and non-members are welcome to our monthly meetings, outings, and social events. 

A word from the Bartram leadership: Turning to 2024 the Bartram Committee evaluated the impact of the reality of losing long time Executive Committee volunteers and unsuccessful volunteer recruitment despite dedicated efforts and announcements in social media and targeted emails. Thus, our leadership unanimously agreed that until volunteer numbers increase the Bartram Group will need to streamline programs, events and offerings beginning in 2024.
